MRC – Recruitment Adverts

These are selection of recruitment adverts I designed for MRC Technology. MRC Technology is a technology transfer organisation that helps bridge the gap between basic medical research & commercialisation of these break throughs.

The adverts were for medical research roles as well as business development roles, so the imagery used had to be relevant or applicable for each possible role. With this in mind all possible applicants would have some sort of medial understanding & background. The adverts will also be displayed in medical & scientific journals & publications.

I wanted to use strong images to catch the viewers attention. There are many aspects of medicine & science that create visually interesting graphics/results. Using images containing; nerve endings, stem cells, networks of veins & arteries, brain scan & a finger print, with a strong line, I was able to link the medical/scientific visuals with research & business development roles.

In addition I had to design layouts for both portrait & landscape orientation in order to work for varying press publications & space.
